Getting Started with Vares

Get up and running with Vares in just a few minutes. This guide walks you through the entire setup process.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• A compatible Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or Torus)
• Some cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stablecoins, or Solana)
• An electric vehicle compatible with Tesla Superchargers
• The Vares mobile app installed

Step 1: Download the App

iOS

1. Open the App Store
2. Search for “Vares”
3. Tap “Get” and authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
4. Wait for installation to complete

Android

1. Open Google Play Store
2. Search for “Vares”
3. Tap “Install”
4. Wait for installation to complete

Step 2: Create Your Account

1. Open the Vares app
2. Tap “Get Started”
3. Read and accept the Terms of Service
4. Enter your email address
5. Create a secure password
6. Verify your email address

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet

1. Tap “Connect Wallet” on the home screen
2. Select your wallet type (Phantom, Solflare, or Torus)
3. Approve the connection in your wallet app
4. Your wallet address will appear in the app

Step 4: Add Cryptocurrency

Transfer cryptocurrency to your connected wallet:

From an Exchange

1. Copy your wallet address from Vares
2. Go to your cryptocurrency exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, etc.)
3. Initiate a withdrawal
4. Paste your wallet address
5. Confirm and wait for the transfer (usually 5-30 minutes)

From Another Wallet

1. Copy your Vares wallet address
2. Open your other wallet
3. Send cryptocurrency to your Vares wallet address
4. Wait for confirmation

Step 5: Locate a Charging Station

1. Tap the “Stations” tab
2. Allow location access when prompted
3. View nearby Tesla Superchargers on the map
4. Tap a station to see details:
   • Current availability
   • Charging speeds
   • Estimated wait time
   • Historical pricing

• Wallet Balance - Your current cryptocurrency balance
• Recent Transactions - Last 5 charging sessions
• Quick Actions - Fast access to common features
• Rewards Summary - Your earned rewards and loyalty points

Stations Tab

• Map View - Visual representation of nearby stations
• List View - Detailed list of all stations
• Filters - Filter by availability, speed, or price
• Favorites - Save your preferred stations

Account Tab

• Profile Settings - Update your information
• Payment Methods - Manage connected wallets
• Transaction History - View all past charges
• Rewards - Check your loyalty points and VARES balance

Common Questions

How long does a transaction take?

Most transactions are confirmed within 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on network congestion. Your vehicle will begin charging once the transaction is confirmed.

What if my transaction fails?

If a transaction fails, you won’t be charged. Check your wallet balance and ensure you have sufficient funds. Try again or contact support.

Can I use Vares with non-Tesla vehicles?

Currently, Vares is optimized for Tesla vehicles and Tesla Superchargers. Support for other EV brands is coming soon.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Vares uses enterprise-grade encryption and never stores your private keys. You maintain full control of your funds at all times.
