# Making Payments with Vares

Learn how to securely and efficiently pay for EV charging using cryptocurrency through Vares.

## Payment Overview

### Making a Payment

## Choosing Your Payment Method

### Bitcoin (BTC)

### Fee Breakdown

The payment screen shows:

* **Cryptocurrency Amount** - How much crypto you're sending
* **Network Fee** - Blockchain transaction fee
* **Vares Fee** - Our platform fee (1% standard)
* **Total Cost** - Complete amount in both crypto and USD
* **Exchange Rate** - Current crypto-to-USD conversion

### Confirmation Details

Before approving, verify:

* ✓ Correct station location
* ✓ Accurate amount
* ✓ Correct cryptocurrency selected
* ✓ Reasonable total cost
* ✓ Your wallet address shown

## Transaction Status

### Pending

Your transaction is being processed:

* Wallet is awaiting your approval
* Network is confirming the transaction
* Charging will begin once confirmed

### Confirmed

Transaction is complete:

* Funds have been transferred
* Charging is active
* You can monitor progress in the app

### Completed

Charging session finished:

* Final amount charged
* Receipt generated
* Rewards credited to your account

## Troubleshooting Payments

### Payment Rejected

### Viewing Your Receipt

1. Open Vares app
2. Tap "Account" tab
3. Tap "Transaction History"
4. Select the transaction
5. Tap "View Receipt"

### Receipt Information

Each receipt includes:

* Transaction ID
* Date and time
* Station location
* Amount charged (kWh)
* Cryptocurrency used
* Amount paid
* Network fee
* Vares fee
* Rewards earned
* Vehicle information

### Exporting Records

* **Email Receipt** - Send to your email address
* **Download PDF** - Save receipt to your device
* **Share** - Share receipt with others
* **Print** - Print from your device
